  • I find archaeology fascinating. I don't know why it stirs up controversy on these posts. It is what it is, and it is open to interpretation. It doesn't threaten anyone or any religion, unless one is closed minded and threatened by new knowledge.

  • I live in CA, and will vote to abolish the death penalty because 'death' is immoral and final. There have been too many cases of people sentenced to death that were later found innocent with new evidence, especially DNA.

  • I still have nothing but utter contempt for Charles Colson, Nixon, Haldeman, Erlichman, and the whole disgusting Nixon administration. Those years for me, with their rabid, hawkish, Vietnam policy and more, led to nothing but misery for myself and my generation.

  • I don't like all of this candidate banning in Egypt, but historically the United States was not all that Democratic when it started out either. Just a few examples: Women couldn't vote nationally until 1920. In early America you could not vote if you didn't own land.

  • In the meantime Romney's message is nothing but attack ads. He rarely has a postive thing to say about anyone. If he didn't have all the money in the world to smear his opponents, he would have been eliminated long ago.
